After several years of examining and planning for an open source project, Digi-Sign announces the formal agreement with OpenCA, as signed on 31 July, 2008.

As the largest open source Certificate Authority [CA] project in the world, OpenCA Digi-Sign boasts more than 140,000 systems in circulation and makes it larger and more widely used than all of the commercial CAs combined.

The first release of the OpenCA Digi-Sign software is slated for 1 October, 2008 and will replace the much anticipated OpenCA NG CA. Market reaction and interest has been astounding with many commercial sponsors and keen PKI enthusiasts all seeking to become a part of this new and exciting initiative.

In addition to the availability of this new enterprise Certificate Authority system, Digi-Sign has various commercial support options to encourage the wider adoption of this software in both the public and the private sector.
